P.F. Chang’s is opening Monday at the Shoppes at Belmont, the new Fruitville Pike shopping center where Zoes Kitchen opened this week.

— P.F. Chang’s, an Asian chain restaurant that features what it calls a “Farm to Wok” menu, will open Monday.

The restaurant features scratch cooking with a menu that includes lettuce wraps, dumplings, and Mongolian beef as well as sushi and dim sum. The restaurant also will offer wine, beer and cocktails.

The P.F. Chang’s at Belmont will encompass 5,400 square feet, with nearly 200 seats inside and about 20 on the patio.

Founded in 1993 by Philip Chiang and Paul Fleming, P.F. Chang’s now operates 300 restaurants worldwide, including more than 200 in the United States. The restaurant at Belmont is the first one in Lancaster County.

— Zoes Kitchen, which calls itself “a fast-casual restaurant serving fresh-made Mediterranean dishes,” made its debut Tuesday.

Zoes Kitchen describes its recipes as “simple food made from fresh, natural ingredients. … With no microwaves or fryers, grilling is the predominant method of cooking along with an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, olive oil and lean proteins.”

The restaurant encompasses 2,800 square feet, with 80 interior seats and 40 exterior seats. It will operate with 30 employees.

The Belmont location will be the chain’s 11th in Pennsylvania and 249th in 20 states overall. The chain’s headquarters is in Plano, Texas.
