Arts and crafts retailer Michaels opened its new store this week in the Shoppes at Belmont, after moving from the nearby Lancaster Shopping Center.
The new store at 1583 Fruitville Pike takes a 21,000-square-foot space next to Nordstrom Rack. The Michaels in the Shoppes at Belmont is slightly larger than the one the arts and crafts retailer formerly had in the nearby Lancaster Shopping Center.
The new Michaels is slightly larger than the 21,000-square-foot store it had in the Lancaster Shopping Center, where it opened in 2004.
Michaels carries art supplies, craft supplies, framing, floral and wall decor as well as seasonal merchandise and products for do-it-yourself home decorators.
Based in Texas, Michaels operates more than 1,200 stores in the United States and Canada.
