A decorative-concrete store in Paradise Township will move three miles west to a new, larger building of its own in East Lampeter Township.
Paradise Concrete Solutions, now in leased space at 3246 Lincoln Highway East, will develop a building of 24,500 square feet at 2771 Lincoln Highway East, near North Ronks Road.
The building could be expanded by 11,700 square feet in the future, according to a land development plan recently approved by the township supervisors.
Formerly the site of Broderick Manufactured Homes, the five-acre tract had been owned by Buddy and Brenda Feerrar as a possible future site for their Apple Auto Body Repair in Christiana.
But the Feerrars decided to stay in Christiana, so they listed the tract for sale. A company formed by Paradise Concrete Solutions owner Levi Stoltzfus acquired the tract last month for $950,000, courthouse records show.
Stoltzfus declined to comment on his plans.
According to its website, the business serves contractors, builders and do-it-yourselfers by providing equipment (sales and rentals), tools, supplies, training, ideas and advice. The business has four employees.
Handling the real estate transaction were Scott Bradbury and Dwight Wagner of U.S. Commercial Realty.
