Nordstrom Rack will open its first Lancaster County store Thursday, March 8, in the Shoppes at Belmont.
The 25,000-square-foot store will be one of the smaller anchor tenants in the shopping center at Fruitville Pike and Route 30 where construction is nearing completion.
The discount division of the Seattle-based retailer, Nordstrom Rack sells out-of-season inventory that had been carried by its department stores.
Nordstrom Rack will take a space near Target, which will itself open March 7.
The store will operate with around 50 employees.
Chick-fil-A, which opened in early January, was the first tenant to begin operating in the Shoppes at Belmont. Other major stores will include Whole Foods, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Michaels.
