Dwight E. Wagner, CCIM, U. S. Commercial Realty, earned his B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, in 1968. He earned the coveted CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 1983, becoming one of only 7,000 Realtors nationally recognized for this award.
During his 41 years as a general broker, Wagner personally completed or coordinated more than $3 billion in commercial and investment real estate sales, including the reallocation of a portfolio of eleven regional shopping malls valued in excess of $700 million for a major U.S. pension fund client and negotiations for the acquisition of a premier office building in San Francisco, CA for over $340 million.
Wagner has negotiated complex multi-leg 1031 tax deferred exchanges for shopping centers, free standing retail property, office buildings, apartment complexes, industrial parks and motels. He has sold thousands of acres to farmers and developers. Mr. Wagner provides both advisory and asset management services for clients on a fee basis.
Wagner served as a Vice-President for Philadelphia based Jackson-Cross Co., a national firm (now CBRE Group International), from 1984 to mid-1996 where he received various Jackson-Cross Company and Philadelphia Board of Realtors Awards including the Top Producer Award in both Investment Sales and Retail Properties. Wagner founded U. S. Commercial Realty in late 1996. Based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the firm deals primarily in commercial investment and land development real estate in Lancaster, York, Gettysburg, Chambersburg, Harrisburg, Lebanon, Reading and West Chester trade areas.
Wagner was appointed and served for 12 years as one of three members of an Independent Fiduciary Committee for a Separate Account of The Equitable, responsible for a $900 million portfolio of regional shopping malls and a $1 billion portfolio of major office buildings located throughout the United States. This committee was responsible for all management, leasing, expansion, acquisition and disposition decisions for the account.
Wagner is licensed as a broker in Pennsylvania and holds memberships in the Tri-State (PA/NJ/DE), Greater Lancaster and National Association of Realtors. Wagner is active in his native Lancaster County Community in various church and community organizations, as well as a principal owner of commercial retail, office, apartment and land development projects. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for Tabor Community Services, Inc., serves as President of Tanglewood Manor, Inc., a public golf course, and as Chairman of a Regional Advisory Board for Fulton Bank.
