The CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) is a recognized professional who may specialize in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis. The CCIM community is worldwide with the majority of members residing in the United States and Canada. Of the approximately 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners in the U.S., only 9,000 hold the CCIM designation. There are approximately 10,000 candidates actively pursuing the designation at any given time.
The CCIM Institute is an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation through an extensive educational curriculum and experiential requirements. Furthermore, the CCIM Institute is the governing body of the largest commercial real estate network in the world.
Dwight Wagner, U.S. Commercial Realty, earned the coveted CCIM designation in 1983. Michael Wagner, U.S. Commercial Realty, earned this prestigious designation in 2003.
